As I lay awake at the dead of this mid August night, trying to write something for some extra dough, I wonder if I am good enough for all these. Thankfully, encouraging words and help are always near. Every piece I write, I send it for a check. The piece comes back with no less than 50 odd mistakes. Grammar – something I took for granted during my school days. Now, from the past few days, I have the urge to buy a book of Wren and Martin (that’s what we had in school) and start from page 1.

The utter pessimist in me says, ‘It’ll be just another start’ – half a page of scribbled line – as Pink Floyds put in. Though I know that the world at large would expect me to end this post in a high note...but seriously, I don’t see the grammar thingie going anywhere. As for the "high note," I shall sign off with one of may favourite Calvin and Hobbes strip.

Here I am today, willing to make a whole new beginning once again. I wonder how many times does someone actually wipe his slate clean and start afresh. I have done it for the third time in the last two year. Hope this time it is worth it and not just another misadventure.

If things go well, I should be writing more often. Hope to see you guys soon.

Yes…for a stupid check-up

Yeah…quite a few times. Couple of times while on late night dates and once when one of my close pal passed away

Nowhere…stayed back home and chilled!

Yeah right....

Yes…Quite a few friends jumped into the bandwagon. Sam, Priyanku, Partha…and so on

Yes. My close friend Bijoy

Yes…and guess what? I am moving again one of these days

Iron Maiden in Bangalore, Sepultura in Delhi…had to miss Scorpions :(

There were so many great ideas that I had when I decided to start this entirely new blog. But now…after I got quite a decent name “freaky journal” all the great (mind the bold and italics) ideas seem to have evaporated!

So what is this blog gonna be? “Whatever it may be…but it should not be directionless” – Tradaptor’s wise advice. Hmmm….thats true. But again…for a guy, who have been directionless all his life, maintaining a singular direction of a blog seems to be quite a daunting task!!! Come on…how is it possible to keep on thinking and writing ‘in the same direction’?

So whatever it may be…this is the first post. I am keeping all my options open. I’ll write whatever I feel like…serious stuff, stupid stuff…and extremely stupid stuff. Things that I care about, things that I really don’t care about…call this my li’l black book. (Are guyz supposed to keep black book?...that too a self proclaimed Metal head…I dunno…and I don’t give a shit)

Whatever this turns out to be…I am glad that I have written enough to publish as my first post…tada…there you are!
